They were such troopers through all the driving and sightseeing, but it was pretty tiring.
On day six, we ventured over the Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye.
The Fairy Pools has been on my bucket list since I found out we were coming to England, so I was very excited to be here!
The view was absolutely breathtaking. Here were these streams and waterfalls tucked into the Cuillin Mountains, simply amazing.
It was incredible how clear the water was.
The girls did great hiking even though it was fairly windy.
One of the best moments (for me at least), was taking the girls to the top of the waterfall. Zach was a bit nervous, but we weren't that close to the edge (even though it looks like it).
There were a few people brave enough to swim in the cold water, but taking off our socks and shoes was just fine for us.
After the Fairy Pools, we drove along the eastern edge of the Isle of Sky and were able to see a few neat sights.
Like the Old Man of Storr.
And Kilt Rock, which is said to resemble the pleats of a kilt.
There was also our last stop of the day, An Lethallt.
On day seven, we made it Eilean Donan Castle. As you can see, we were still working on our family selfie skills.
I don't know that it gets more Scottish than Eilean Donan and a bagpiper.
After a wonderful few days, it was time to leave the Isle of Skye and the Highlands and drive on to the last stop.
