Here We Go!

Time to dust off the ol' blog!

It's been far too long and we have been crazy busy. To sum up our spring, we went to 3 weddings (in two different cities, within 6 weeks), Zach did a full marathon (in Mew Mexico, in full military uniform), Disney on Ice, our favorite Florida friends came to visit, we made a trip to see my Mom, and my Dad came to visit. After all that madness, we were very much looking forward to a nice, relaxing summer.

That got shut down pretty quick.

Our past few weeks have been full of visitors, meeting new friends, playdates, a trip to the circus, trips to Sea World, and basketball/ dance/swim lessons. We also found out that we won't be staying in our current house, so we have been trying to find a new place. It's just a whole lotta crazy around here!

And now the real reason I'm getting back to blogging, we are now four months away from Zach's first deployment. I have a feeling that writing (and not that I am a very good writer) will help with some of the emotions and maybe help everyone know what is going on here. For now, Zach is currently away taking a language and cultures class to help prepare him. He's been gone for a week already and we have two more to go before he is home again. A trial run for the girls and I before he leaves for five months. So far so good. A few meltdowns (from the girls) and a few nights with a glass of wine (for me).

Anyways, that is our world right now and it won't be slowing down anytime soon. Just another adventure!
