Back in October, we finally made it to our first castle!
Warwick was built back in 1068, has seen several sieges and battles, been rebuilt and updated, and is now a big tourist attraction. It's huge and beautiful!
After our indoor tour, we climbing many winding staircases to go through all the different towers. Lots and lots of stairs, but a spectacular view once you got up there.
One of the neatest things we saw were some old trebuchets. The biggest one is 59 feet tall!!
We had so much fun exploring!
The girls even got a shot at archery! I'm pretty sure this was the favorite moment.
It was the perfect day and we couldn't have asked for a better time!
