Our little girl isn't quite so little anymore. In fact, she just turned 7. And she was so excited about it!
She ended up having to stay home from school on her actual birthday because she had been poorly earlier in the week. I don't think she really minded spending the day at home.
We started the day off with pink mini donuts and candles.
She got to open her present from sister before school and that was super exciting!
Seriously, this girl.
The day was pretty quiet and low key. We did a mom, dad, and birthday girl lunch out.
That afternoon after school, she FINALLY got to open all those presents.
That night we went to our favorite pizza place for dinner. The girls got to watch the employees making dough, which is always exciting.
Then came the birthday dessert.
Since we didn't do actual birthday cake on her day, she had requested an ice cream cake for the next night.
Happy Birthday to my wild, silly, sweet baby girl.
