Haley Turns 3

Haley has been so excited about her birthday for a while now, that it's hard to believe it's over.  But, in all fairness, we did celebrate her birthday for three days.

We started off taking cupcakes to her school and letting her friends sing Happy Birthday to her.  Everyone enjoyed the treat and I know Haley loved having a cupcake before lunch.

 

Then came the birthday party.  Every day she kept saying "It's my birthday party?"  And finally it was.

She got to dig for treasure.

 Be a mermaid with her sister.

And have more cupcakes.

Then came the big day.  Her actual birthday.  We covered the floor of her room with balloons and put a few on her bed.  She was so excited to wake up with balloons everywhere. 

Then it was time for presents.  She loved opening all her gifts and would look them all over to figure out what it was.

After presents came her big surprise gift.  A new bike!  When daddy came into the living room with it Haley said "OH!  A bicycle!"  She was in love!

And of course we sang Happy Birthday at every meal and she got the Celebrate Plate all day too.  She especially loved blowing out candles at each meal. 

And at 3:10pm, my baby girl turned 3.
