14 Months

Another month has flown by and Emily Grace has turned 14 months old.  I'm not sure where the time is going, but I do wish it would slow down a little bit.

She LOVES dress up jewelry.  She is constantly putting on necklaces just to take them off and put them back on again.  There is usually no less than two on at a time.

We are also practicing using a fork.  Some days she uses it and other days not so much, but at least we're getting used to it.

Emily's new fascination is the trash can.  We have a lock on the trash, which is great because it took Haley  2.5 years (and Uncle Zeth 2 weeks!) to learn how to open it.  Unfortunately,  it only took Emily 14 months to figure it out.  She loves opening the trash can and finding all sorts of yuckiness.  I even tried turning the can around, but Emily just pushes it back and opens it up.  I guess it's going behind the baby gate now!

Caught in the act! :)

Emily has lots of words in her vocabulary now, but her favorite new word  is "shoes".  She is always talking about shoes and looking for the shoe box.  When we are ready to go somewhere, she is ready for "shoes".

This little girl loves her "sissy" or "sis sis".  When she wakes up from a nap, her first word is usually "sissy".  She is always watching Haley and learning from her (which can be good or bad, but mostly good).   They are great sisters.

And speaking of watching Haley, Emily says "peas" (please) the same way her big sister does.  She puts her hands on her tummy and says "peeeeas".  It makes me smile every time because it is so adorable!

This is Emily's "cheeeese" face.  Don't you just love it?!
