Upcoming Adventure

It's almost time! Just under a week and then we will be on our way to Washington DC! We've been planning this trip for about four months now and I can't believe that it's almost here. When we found out we were pregnant with baby #2, we decided to do what we did when I found out I was pregnant with Haley- take one more big trip. Both Zach and I have always wanted to somewhere out east and we figured that DC would have it all.

To make the trip even more fun and unique, we decided that instead of flying out there that we would take the Amtrak from Miami. This is either going to be a very fun or very bad decision. The train ride will be about 27 hours and we definitely decided to get a sleeper cabin. I'm crossing my fingers that this will all turn out to be as fun as we thought :)

We have all sorts of fun things on the itinerary: a trolley tour of all the monuments, a water tour on the Potomac, the Children's Museum, the International Spy Museum (just for Zach's birthday!), Madame Tussuad's, and two Smithsonian museums- Air and Space and American History. We're even going to be fortunate enough to see some friends and family while we're there! It's a lot to pack into four days, but I think we can do it!
