Boat Ride

Early last week, we took to the water. The weather was a little cool and windy, but it was still gorgeous out. It was Haley's very first boat ride. And let me tell you, the girl is fearless. I'm not sure whether or not I should be happy or terrified about that.

When we were going slow, it was a nice smooth ride. But once we really got going, it was pretty bumpy. I think everyone came out of their seats a few times. I was a little nervous how Haley was going to handle it all, but she just laughed and smiled the whole time. She even got a little curious and was looking over the edge of the boat into the water, and I mean way over the edge, while we were really moving. Talk about making mommy's heart race. She even got to take the wheel and "drive" the boat. Zach didn't even get to do that :)

All in all it was a great day. We were all so exhausted from all the fun and excitement that we all took a nap when we got home. A perfect end to the day!
