Burghley House

Another stop on our adventure tour was the Burghley House.  I think this might just be my favorite place we've seen so far.  It's such a neat House.

Just look at this stove and all the copper pans.

I just loved seeing all the servants bells.

These beds!

And this "cot" was used for the future Queen Elizabeth when she was a little girl and the Queen didn't want her to be in another room.

This was right before we set off the alarm for crossing the rope, oops!

I think my favorite thing about the house were the amazing painted ceilings and walls.

After walking through the house, the kids got to run around and play for a bit.

Then we walked through the Garden of Surprises!

We came across this old game that was played a long time ago and everyone got in on the action.

Even the gardens itself were stunning.

This was definitely one of my favorites.
