Zach's Birthday

A few weeks ago, Zach finally turned the big 3-0.  We basically celebrated for an entire week.

He got to open his present a few days before his actual birthday, mainly because it wasn't a physical gift (more on that later).  The gift opening was a fun event for the whole family.  I put his small piece of paper with his gift information at the bottom of a huge bag and filled it up with tissue paper.

It was lots of fun getting to the bottom of the bag.

And even more fun once the bag was empty.

So now for his big present.  One of the things on his Key West bucket list was to do a jet ski tour around the island.  So thanks to a good friend of ours who watched the girls all day, we were able to enjoy the day together.  After the jet skis, I took Zach to a nice lunch on the water.  I think he enjoyed it :)

And finally came his actual birthday.  We decorated the house some with balloons and streamers.  And we ended up buying a small cheesecake (Haley's choice) instead of making something.  It was a great way to end a week of celebrating the best man in our lives.
