A Perfect Day

This past Sunday, the girls and I had a fabulously perfect day.  We didn't really have anything to do, so we made the best of just being around the house.

While Emily took her morning nap, Haley and I made "hot chocolate" in her kitchen.  Then we played doctor for a while.  I found an old bandage and Haley got "fixed".

She enjoyed being wrapped up so much that she didn't want to take it off while she kept playing.

When Emily woke up, the girls and I played with bubbles on the back porch until it was time for lunch.  These girls love their bubbles and could probably play with them all day.  Then came lunch.  Haley wanted to sit at the little table and asked if Emily could sit there too.  They looked so grown up eating their lunches at their own table.  I admit, I was a little lonely at the big table.

After lunch, Emily's mouth was hurting a little so she got a teether.  She thought it was pretty cool that the purple side vibrated and tickled her teeth.

Not to be left out, Haley said her teeth were hurting too, so she got to play with a teether as well.

Early in the afternoon we got lucky and Zach was able to sneak out of work and meet us for ice cream.  Haley said she wanted to go to the "factory", so we met Zach at the Dairy Queen.

The rest of the afternoon was spent dressing up and building towers and more towers.

We ended our perfect day with a super bubble bath.

It was such a wonderful day and I hope that there are many more like it.
