Hard to believe my sweet little girl is going to be three in a little over a month. She has changed so much since her 2nd birthday. I know she will change a lot between all her birthdays, but in the last 11 months, she has gone from toddler to little girl.
She still loves cooking and baking with me. You never know what she'll find to play with or what she'll do with it.
Sometimes I wonder what she thinks about. She has a few moments where she'll just sit and be really quiet. It's rare, but it happens.
Haley still loves to read and that makes me happy. She has started memorizing the words from some of her favorites and reads them to herself a lot.
She's still got a great sense of humor. Walking around with buckets on her head or saying something silly is a very common thing around here. She's also more than happy to introduce herself to almost anyone- "Hi! I'm Haley!" she'll say with lots of excitement.
We've had a couple firsts in the past few weeks with Haley.
She started taking a gymnastics class with a few of her friends. She tells us she has "so much fun!".
Haley also started preschool last week. She was so excited about going back to school and seeing her friends. I was a little nervous wondering how she would do with me leaving her, but she didn't even notice I was gone. She is such a social butterfly. At the end of the day, I practically had to drag her out of her classroom because "I stay here!!". She loves school and I love that she loves it.
Haley is a free spirit. She is emotional (like me). She is loving and sweet. She is so many wonderful things. And she'll always be my baby girl (no matter how old she is).
