13.5 Months

Emily Grace has changed so much in the past few months that it's getting harder to keep up with her now.  Just when I think I have it all figured out, she goes and does something new.

She is walking more and more and with great confidence.  I love that she walks with her hands up by her chest, trying to keep her balance.  It's cute stuff.

This is also a fun new thing that she does.  I'm not entirely sure how she came up with it, but she does it a lot.

She also has quite a bit more hair these days.  It's starting to get in her eyes, so we keep trying to put it up, but it never lasts and then her hair is stuck looking like this.  What a rock star!

Emily loves to read.  Most days you will find her by the book box with books everywhere around her.  There are a few books that she wants to read over and over again (and mommy and daddy already have them memorized :))  Her love of books probably explains why she already has a crazy amount of words in her vocabulary.  It amazes me the things she says each day.  Besides learning new words, she already knows a few animal sounds and a few body parts.  She's even working on her good manners with "peeeas" and "xcue me".

Her favorite game is peek-a-boo.  She will play it anywhere and with anyone.  Whether she's covering her own eyes or just peeking out from around the corner, it makes her smile every time.

No matter how much she changes, Emily Grace is nothing short of fabulous!
