Oklahoma

Well, we are all back home in Key West now. It was a fabulous trip back to Texas and Oklahoma to visit family and friends, but it was time to come home. Here is how we spent the last week of our adventure in Oklahoma.

We arrived at Zach's mom and dad's (aka the in-laws) home on Father's Day. We didn't get to spend the day with Zach, but he was left a present in Key West that he got to open. The evening was spent with aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins for the girls. It was a nice way to spend the day.

The next afternoon we were off to the airport to get Daddy! We were all so excited to see him. And I'm pretty sure he was happy to see us too :)

One of the days we were there, Zach's dad took us all out to see the Clydesdale's. It was so neat! The horses were huge! Haley loved getting to see the horses and even got to see a zebra out there. Emily was pretty fascinated with all the animals too.

Another afternoon, Grandma took a break from baking wedding cakes and took us out to a sprayground. It was one of the best things ever! I'm not sure why these aren't everywhere! It's basically a little area with fancy sprinklers for the kids. Haley loved playing with the water cannon and running around. Even Emily got in on the action and sat right in the middle of a spray area. It was a lot of fun.

Somehow the days got away from us and it was time for the big event- Zeth and Emma's wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony and both bride and groom looked great. The reception was wonderful. Haley took center stage and wanted to dance all night. She partied hard and made it until late in the evening. The morning after the wedding, all of Zach's family came over to the house and there was a big brunch. It was fun getting to see everyone. Wish we were closer to see them more often.

Then it was time to come home. The girls did great on the flights back and we had no major meltdowns. We are now unpacked and settled back into life here. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us on our trip! We made lots of wonderful memories and can't wait to see you again soon!
