Finally, the big moment arrived and she was called back. The assistant was wonderful with Haley and made her feel really comfortable. She gave her a purple bib and sunglasses, since it would be bright looking in her mouth.
Haley also chose a purple goodie bag that had a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a timer.
Then came time for the cleaning. Haley chose the chocolate flavored toothpaste and tried to eat it the whole time she was getting her teeth cleaned. I guess that's the problem with yummy tasting toothpaste. Haley did a pretty good job of opening her mouth big and wide.
Then the dentist came back and looked at Haley's teeth and told us they looked great, but to probably expect some orthodontist work later (better start saving!).
Since she did such a great job, the dentist let Haley pick out three prizes from the treasure chest!
I'm so proud of how well she did for her first trip to the dentist!
