Things On Thursday

So I thought I would start doing a blog on Thursdays about things that have made me smile during the week. There are so many little things that go on that I thought I would share some of those sweet moments.

HI! How could that not make you smile?

Haley has decided napping is for the birds and hasn't taken one in a week. We've tried laying down on the couch together or just letting her have quiet time in her room, but nothing has worked out, so we've decided to go with the fact that she is just not going to nap anymore. Then today, I took the girls to the grocery store, a five minute drive. By the time we got there, this is how I found Haley. She must have been tired! So Emily and I played in the front seat while Haley napped for a little bit. It did the trick because we had the nicest evening and no meltdowns! Maybe I should go driving with them more often :)

This makes me smile and a little sad at the same time. Table food! Emily is wanting it more and more, which means no more baby food. I'm happy that she's wanting big girl food, but it means she's growing up.

My mom sent me this picture. Bluebonnets. It means spring has sprung in Texas! I am a little sad that it means another year that the girls don't get bluebonnet pictures (it's a Texas thing), but hopefully I'll get one soon.

And speaking of bluebonnets, here is Haley's first bluebonnet picture. She was six months old. Hard to believe that was two years ago.
