Texas- Part II

After a fabulous Thanksgiving in Houston, it was time for us to move on. Zach came back home to Key West to work, but the girls and I ventured out on our own for some time with my mom and family. I think I might have been a bit naive about handling the girls on my own, but we did just fine. There were a few meltdowns along the way, but we made it.

Haley was a little worn our our first day.

Once we got to mom's, Emily got to meet her Grandpa Glen.

A few days later, she got to meet her Great-Grammy and Great-Grandpa Joe.

Both girls had to get used to getting all bundled up for the cold west Texas weather.

Another highlight of our trip was for all three great-grand babies to get together. At four months old, Emily was not the newest great-grand baby. Cousin Lainey was only a week and a half!

One night we went out to the Clay County Lighted Holiday Parade. It was brr cold, so Grammy and Haley were all cuddled up.
One of Haley's most favorite things to do on our trip, was to have Grandpa Glen tell her bedtime stories. She just loved it!!
On our last day in town, we were lucky enough to have Zach's parents come down from Oklahoma to see their grand babies.

We had a wonderful trip to Texas and I loved every moment of it. But, after two weeks, it was even better to come home.
