In August we made our way out to the Roald Dahl Museum. We had been reading the BFG at home and the girls had read a few other Dahl books in school, so we thought this would be a fun day out.
The girls were pretty excited!
Haley just wanted to eat the giant "chocolate door".
It was fun seeing where they stood to some of the famous Dahl characters. Big girl was thrilled to be as tall as Sophie from the BFG.
The museum is where his home stood and this was his actual writing hut. This was the space that he wrote in for more than 30 years.
The girls even got to sit in a replica of his famous writing chair.
We had such a fun day learning more about one of our favorite authors.
