Pumpkins

The girls had so much fun with pumpkins this year!

We started of with a trip to the pumpkin patch.  It was unbelievably hot that day.  Despite the heat, we had a great time going with some friends.  We took a hayride and the girls jumped in the bounce houses.  Finally it was time to get our pumpkins.  Haley and Emily got to pick out their own little pumpkins and then we got our family one.  Neither girl wanted to get their picture taken, but I tried. 

The next day was pumpkin decorating.

 First they painted.

Then came the glitter. 

They were so proud of their pumpkins.

I think they turned out pretty fabulous.

Then it was finally time to carve the big pumpkin.  Haley was super excited about scooping out all the "gooey".

But then came time to actually do it and she wanted nothing to do with it.

So Daddy had to scoop it all by himself.

It was another successful pumpkin season!
