Where did the time go? Little Miss Emily Grace is now 18 months. She is now closer to being two than she is one! I don't even want to think about how quickly she is growing up.
Little girl has been teething almost non-stop for the past few months. She is pretty attached to her "fly" teether lately. Her 1 year molars are in and now she's working on the canines. Those seem to be the worst for her. Thank goodness she only has two left to cut.
Emily is already a big help around the house. She loves to take her plate to the sink after meals. And after bathtime she can't wait to take her diaper to the trash. Sometimes I even catch her singing the pick up song when we are picking up toys. I wonder how long she'll enjoy doing all these helpful things!
She loves to read. I've been finding her a lot lately in the rocking chair in her room with a book on her lap.
She will read the same book over and over and I love how excited she still gets.
Emily wants to be a big girl so badly! She loves playing with Haley and all her big girl friends. After watching Haley ride on the zebra scooter, little girl just had to do it too. Anything Haley can do, Emily wants do too. She actually asked me to sit on the potty twice the other day! I'm not sure I'm ready for her to be a big girl quite yet. I need my little girl to be little for a bit longer.
It amazes me how much this sweet little girl already knows. She loves to count. She usually starts at 4, but can count all the way up to 10. There may be a missing number here or there, but that doesn't even matter. Emily also enjoys singing her ABCs. She may miss a letter here or there, but that doesn't matter either.
Happy year and a half birthday Little Miss! You will always be mommy's little girl!
She is such a doll. Seriously adorable. I can't believe how smart she is! Wow. How fun! : )
