Ready for Christmas!

For the past month we have been busy getting ready for Christmas.

The girls helped to decorate the tree.  And rearrange it a few times since :)

Holly, our elf, made her debut this year and has been moving around everyday being silly and a little naughty.  Every morning the girls are excited to see where Holly is and what she is up to that day.

We've even been a little crafty.  The girls made Christmas trees with shaving cream, glue, and of course, glitter.

It's even been cold enough for a few fires.  We've taken advantage and made s'mores.  Haley loves them, Emily not so much.

Instead of a gingerbread house, we decided make a few Christmas trees.  The girls "painted" their tree (ice cream cone) with green frosting and then decorated with some sprinkles and M&Ms.

They enjoyed decorating the trees, but not as much as eating the decorations.

And it wouldn't be Christmas without going to see some lights.  We found a great neighborhood that had some incredible displays.  This was our favorite.
